Thinking using your own mind, and not somebody else’s
This is one of those things that keep bugging me… People don’t think for themselves!
The most obvious place I notice it right now is in math class at school… People go like “hey, what’s 6 times 4?” and then half a second later, they go “nevermind”. Seriously, we’re fourteen this year and they can’t figure out what 6 x 4 is?
OH YEAAAH, THEY CAN!
It’s just that people are too damn lazy to think for themselves, and rely on others to make life easier and not giving a second thought to the fact that other people have problems too.
Another example is from the other day when my parents were selling some cheap high quality headphones (which surprisingly got higher ratings than both Koss and Sennheiser in the reviews… but that’s another story).
A lady walked up and said that she did not want to buy any, because she was afraid of damaged hearing…
Like, DUH, LOWER THE FRIKKEN VOLUME THEN!
Use your OWN mind, be INDEPENDENT! That’s one of the most important things you can learn ever, in my opinion. What would you do if there’s no one around?
Stay awesome,
