The Self Destr- I mean Self Help Industry
You’ve probably heard the term “make money online” lately. I would believe most people online have heard it…
Know why?
That would be because of the thousands upon thousands of internet marketers out there, 90% of them unsuccessful, all of them trying to make money online. The failing ones would be those who’re just trying to make a quick buck online.
How does this relate to the self help industry? Hold on, I’ll get to that part.
Did you know, that there’s an actual business model, that is based on finding people’s needs, just compiling random articles on the subject as an electronic book and selling it online?
That means that these wanna-be internet marketers are researching what people are looking for, and creating a product to match those needs, and then they sell it online as an e-book, or electronic book for instant download.
Did you know that the so-called self-help industry is huge? There are a lot of these internet marketers that are aware of this… People make random products that promises to make us wealthy and happy, and that we’ll have a successful and prosperous life, etc, etc… etcetera.
If you’re one of those who’s JUST watched “the secret”, I bet that you’d be willing to buy pretty much anything that would teach you how to apply these principles to your life…
It’s just sick. This is why I would like to call it the self destruct industry instead. It’s slowly dwindling downwards at the same time as it’s rocketing skywards for the REAL masters and gurus of this time.
Some of these people selling this stuff are actually honest and are well-known for that fact. People like Barry Goss and Heather Vale for example, or Stephen Pierce. All of these just happen to be top internet marketers, but honest ones at that too. Stephen Pierce’s blog is actually one of my favorite ones right now.
