The Run Test

Hah, today I was thinking about a new goal I had in mind, and I came up with something to test if I wanted it enough.

This is what I came up with:

There’s a 5 km running track about 20 min walking distance from my house, so I figured I could get a workout at the same time.

I went over there and my plan was, since I knew the track fairly well (this was the fourth time running it) I picked a spot that was like halfway around the track. And, since my stamina isn’t the greatest in the world I planned to run to that spot without stopping even once.

I knew that I had never been running that far before, and I figured that if I really wanted this I’d be able to do it.

Makes sense, right? It’s all about that determination.

Now not only did I manage to do it, I proved to myself that this is a goal worth accomplishing, I also got a workout and proved that I could run that far without stopping. It took me about 11 minutes to run there.

When I started running, and through pretty much the entire track, I had doubts that I wouldn’t be able to do it, because well… I got tired and farigued I guess.

Now this is pretty counter-intuitive, and I guess it’s a “negative” form of manifesting if you don’t make it. But, if you want it enough, you should make it.

If you think about it, this is also kind of a manifesting process, because you’re forced to focus on your goal the entire time, which is essentially what all deliberate creation methods require you to do.

If you like exercising, try this one out.r
