I don't think that necessarily means death and destruction, though. "The world" could mean the world of illusion, which means the world of fear and all the nasties that brings. I only watched the first few minutes of the video - I thought our friend was perhaps a person who is subscribing to the world of fear - I wouldn't pay much attention to that kind of thing. Some say the current events and the ones to come are forcing everyone to choose between love and fear. Your 18th birthday may well find everyone celebrating the end of the world of fear.
