The First Source is Always Right

It’s funny isn’t it?

How the first source we hear information from, is always right.

Right?

Let’s say you hear something about wild boars on the radio… and then later on you see on Animal Planet a completely different thing that contradicts what they said on the radio. Which source is right?

If we look to human psychology, that would be the radio.

I think there’s few people who have not experienced this phenomenon, whether they’d admit it or not.

This relates to something I heard from Eben Pagan, that we do not live in the reality, but everything gets filtered through our own beliefs and our life, so we make judgements of things we don’t actually know the truth of.

We live on our ‘maps’. Everything that goes on around us is always filtered first, and that’s why different people look at different things and situations so differently.

I think it all fits together pretty nicely.
