So, I’m a magicican, as you may know. I have been for several years.
For my birthday, which was the 22nd this month, we ordered a few things from theory11, which is a hugely popular magic shop. They said that it’d be here in about 5-7 business days.
This was almost 2 weeks ago!
Very annoying, IMO.
Now, being a self help kind of guy, this got me thinking “why?” from a more spriritual perspective.
“Is this some kind of lesson from the universe about eternal patience, or something like that?”
I know patience is a vital part for any kind of success. You can’t expect to be in China as soon as you put your shovel to the ground. Not only will it take a long ass time, but you’ll go through hell to get there.
Oh God I own so hard at metaphors, don’t I?
Anyywaaay, it’s true, and that is an area where I lack. Things and people (especially people, the “slower” ones) can be so frustrating you just wanna throw a lawnmower at ‘em.
It’s an area for me that needs improvement, but at least I admit it, and that’s half of the battle. Almost. The easy half at least…
