Friday The Thirteenth

Paraskavedekatriaphobia

Do you have it?

Haha, that’s actually Fearing Friday The Thirteenth.

I sure don’t, by the way.

That was actually inspired by my friend Tim’s latest email on his emailing list… he talked a bit about that and included some stuff from Wikipedia:

According to wikipedia.com:

“In numerology, the number twelve is considered the number of
completeness, as reflected in the twelve months of the year, twelve
recognized signs of the zodiac, the twelve tribes of Israel, the
twelve Apostles of Jesus, etc., whereas the number thirteen was
considered irregular, transgressing this completeness.  There is
also a superstition, thought by some to derive from the Last
Supper, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result
in the death of one of the diners.”

Yep, it’s today, among other days.

Kind of scary isn’t it?

Well, not really, but today was the first day in a long time where I’ve been nervous.

Like, when something just happens and it instantly gets the adrenaline or whatever going and you’re “under fire”.

Today was the closest thing I’ve ever gotten to a job interview! Yes, I’m 14…

Except it wasn’t a Job interview.

Thing is, that yesterday I applied to be an Affiliate for MarketLeverage, which is an affiliate network. Yes, Affiliate Marketing is my main source of income right now, mainly through this blog and my other blog.

But what I didn’t realize is that MarketLeverage actually calls the applicants on the phone. Didn’t expect that, haha.

It’s funny. It wasn’t that bad at all really, but when you’re sitting there playing Super Mario Galaxy and the phone rings… you answer with the typical Swedish “Hallå?” and on the other end they go “Hi, I’m calling from Market Leverage… “… my “self talk” went “Oh shit”.

I got approved though :)
