People try to make things complicated (and sabotage themselves when they do.) But really, as you say here, it’s pretty basic and simple. When you boil it right down, these 3 things are the essential ingredients. Yes, you have to do a lot of work to figure out what to focus ON (like, what is the ONE goal that burns in your soul like an endless fire that won’t go out?) — and then believe in it enough that you WILL persist and not just give up when the first hard thing comes along — and be patient and have faith that your efforts WILL bear fruit eventually. It helps to have a coach or mentor to guide you through those times — but if you don’t have one, you can coach yourself through it too if you have enough passion for what your goal is.
