Determination
I’m sitting here writing a pre-sell letter for a product I’m promoting in my online marketing projects, and I can’t get the site right, the video review is off centered, there’s a bigass gap right below the headline for no reason, and it’s pretty darn annoying, as I’m not so HTML-savvy.
But I’m determined to get it right, because eventually I will have to learn this stuff. If I don’t, I’m not gonna get very far…
This is a very “small” form of determination… And determination is, in my opinion, one of the most important words in the dictionary.
You need it if you want to succeed in anything in life.
Determination goes hand in hand with what I call the success formula, which is F+Px2
Alright, sorry, just made that up, but the abbreviation is F.P.P. which stands for:
Focus: Keep your eyes on your goal at all times, don’t get distracted
Persistence: Keep at it, no matter what comes in your way.
Patience: Success doesn’t happen overnight. Keep going after it, for an eternity if that’s what it takes. Trust in your Higher Consciousness that it will deliver exactly at the right time
Do you see now, how perfectly the word Determination ties in perfectly in this “formula”? Especially the first P.
If you want success in your life, you must be DETERMINED to get there, no matter what. Whether it’s as simple as centering a video on a website, or becoming an olympic champion, determination (among other things) gets you there.

Linus, I think you’ve nailed a very succinct formula here. People try to make things complicated (and sabotage themselves when they do.) But really, as you say here, it’s pretty basic and simple.
When you boil it right down, these 3 things are the essential ingredients. Yes, you have to do a lot of work to figure out what to focus ON (like, what is the ONE goal that burns in your soul like an endless fire that won’t go out?) — and then believe in it enough that you WILL persist and not just give up when the first hard thing comes along — and be patient and have faith that your efforts WILL bear fruit eventually.
It helps to have a coach or mentor to guide you through those times — but if you don’t have one, you can coach yourself through it too if you have enough passion for what your goal is.
Make today — and every day — extraordinary!
You really CAN build the kind of life that you will LOVE living.
Many blessings,
Nancy
Ah, yes… thanks for the input Nancy, totally agree with what you had to say. I’ll go ahead and delete the first of your comments.
